Insurance

I am an in-network provider with Aetna. However, I will be considered an out-of-network provider with most other insurance plans.

If your health insurance coverage includes out-of-network (OON) benefits, my services likely qualify for reimbursement through your OON benefits. If you have a PPO, HSA, or similar insurance benefits, you may be eligible to have some or all of the cost of services reimbursed directly by your insurance company.

Rates

You will find that my self-pay rates are comparable to other practicing psychologists with similar levels of experience and training in the area.

In fact, I am confident that the rates listed below are an exceptional value for the outstanding services you will receive.

  • 53-minute initial visit = $245

    Your initial visit Includes:

    *Comprehensive & therapeutic assessment of your concerns, with thoughtful and compassionate review of your health and psychosocial history.

    *Collaborative treatment planning to clarify goals and develop an initial “roadmap” for therapy

    *Introduction to therapeutic work in support of your goals.

    *So much more than just an intake visit — It is not uncommon for my clients to experience some significant improvement in their emotional well-being and functioning following this initial visit.

    This initial session in often described by clients as “eye opening,” and “a huge relief.” You are likely to walk away from this visit with a greater sense of clarity, relief, and hope. ( though of course, results vary).

  • 53-minute therapy visit = $245

    Extended Length Therapy Visits:

    75-minute session = $305

    90-minute session = $365

    Brief Check-In Therapy Visit:

    30-minute session = $155

    *Note that I also reserve a limited number of sliding scale appointments for clients who are in financial need of reduced fees.

  • Comprehensive behavioral health evaluations, including ADHD evaluation, pre-surgical evaluations (e.g., bariatrics, transplants, spinal chord stimulator).

    $225 / hour of evaluation + $200 for assessment scoring, interpretation, documentation of findings & clinical recommendations.

    Estimated total cost = $650-$1,000

  • “7 Principles for Making Marriage Work” Workshop series:

    8-Week Series /Weekend Intensive = $480 couple (25% discount if prepaid)

    “Weight Loss & Wellness” Workshop series:

    Single “drop in” session = $60 / visit

    Discounted monthly subscription (4 visits/month) = $200

Payment

For convenience and ease, I accept all major credit cards. I also accept Flexible Savings Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) as payment. Payment is due at the time of your session, and is automatically processed through our secure booking software.  

A New Way to Pay with Your Out-Of-Network Benefits:

As an out-of-network provider, I have partnered with Thrizer to help clients save money on therapy. Thrizer is a payment app that handles the out-of-network process automatically for you, so you can pay only what you truly owe for our sessions, or get reimbursed quickly if you prefer that.
